The TranEd Reader is intended to allow engineers who don't own the full version of TranEd to view TranEd files. The Reader is available free of charge to anyone and can be freely distributed.
The concept behind the full version of TranEd is simple - it is intended to make TRANSYT easier to use and provide additional facilities to get more out of TRANSYT models. TRANSYT is traffic signal network analysis software written by the then Transport Research Laboratory (now TRL Ltd.).
